MAYDAY BLACKOUT 2026

Image
Tomorrow is MAYDAY. On May 1st, we stand together in a national general strike. No work No school No shopping No social media We’re also turning our profile pictures black in solidarity. This is about collective power. When we pause our participation—even for one day—we remind those in power that the economy depends on us. The only real power we have is through the almighty dollar, so tomorrow we withhold it. This isn’t a threat—it’s a promise. If our elected officials won’t listen, we will continue to show up, speak out, and take action. Fill out your strike card: generalstrikeus.com Share this post and spread the word. Together, we are powerful. Together, we are indivisible. FEEL FREE TO DOWNLOAD THIS IMAGE TO USE ACROSS YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA TOMORROW.

Indivisible Southern Indiana Endorsements 2026

Image
DR. TIM PECK   Indivisible Southern Indiana is proud to announce our endorsement of TIM PECK FOR CONGRESS.  Our members believe he represents the kind of leadership Southern Indiana needs at a moment when our rights, our freedoms, and the stability of our democracy are under real pressure. Supporters describe Tim as a steady, principled voice who listens to the people he serves and focuses on real solutions instead of political theater. Southern Indiana deserves a representative who shows up, tells the truth, and works for the people, and that is why our chapter is standing with him. People who support Tim often point to his commitment to putting people over party. They describe him as someone who listens to his community rather than to national party influencers or political extremes, and someone who prioritizes problem‑solving over partisanship. Supporters also emphasize that Tim is deeply rooted in Southern Indiana and understands the challenges fami...

‼️CALLING ALL ANTI-WAR HOOSIERS‼️

Image
We are organizing a Park-In outside the New Albany office of Senator Todd Young, and we’re looking for volunteers to take part. We need anti-war comrades willing to decorate their cars with anti-war signs, banners, and messages for peace and take a shift parked outside the office to help maintain a visible, peaceful presence. Our goal is simple: Maintain an anti-war presence outside Senator Todd Young’s office EVERY DAY until he agrees to speak out AGAINST this needless war in Western Asia. This is an easy but powerful action: 🟥 Decorate your car with anti-war signage 🟥 Park outside the office during your 1-hour shift ADDRESS: 3602 Northgate Court, Suite 15, New Albany, IN 47150 🟥 Help show that Hoosiers are demanding peace Even one hour makes a difference. The more people who participate, the stronger the message. ⏰ Sign up below for a one-hour time slot and help us keep the pressure on. Together we can show that Indiana stands for peace, diplomacy, and accountability. ...

Southern Indiana Students Lead Month of Anti-ICE Action

Image
Throughout February, students across southern Indiana’s District 9 have organized a wave of walkouts, marches, and rallies in response to the impact of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement on families across the United States. What began as conversations among students has grown into a coordinated month of youth-led civic action stretching across towns and state lines. Earlier this month, students from New Albany High School organized a march through downtown New Albany, drawing strong participation and community attention. The demonstration moved along the town’s main thoroughfare, with students carrying handmade signs, chanting, and calling for the abolishment of ICE. The march helped set the tone for what has become a sustained, student-driven movement throughout the region. This past Monday, students from both sides of the Ohio River gathered for a symbolic rally on the Big Four Bridge, forming a visible show of unity between Indiana and Kentucky youth. Participants described t...
